Guard against the unknown
Description
(Job 1:5 KJV) "And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed by God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually"...
This wisdom we learn from Job. Job wasn't only righteous, but wise. It is said; every time his children held a feast and were merry, Job would intreat the Lord on their behalf and call them for sanctification. This he did peradventure and unknown to him, they sinned and cursed God. Job understood three things:
1. You don't take chances with potential sin.
2. Not everyone i know, shares my reverence and commitment to the Lord.
3. The devil can use those am connected with as doorways to attack me.
Brothers and Sisters, Psalms 1:1 says; "Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful".....
However we cannot always knows what our friends, relatives and business associates do privately.... We can sit and walk with them not knowing how they are before God.
It is then incumbent upon us to habitually pray for those we are linked to. A truly righteous person does not only know how to pray for themselves, but they are experts in praying and interceding for others also....
Be blessed
