It\u2019s painful to think that today marks a decade since my Dad passed on. Losing him broke & altered me at the very core of my being….
\nI watched as both my parents endured intense & incessant pain being sick. The indescribable agony on my ill Mother’s face as we buried her firstborn son & my only brother, who died recently & unexpectedly, haunts me still…<\/p>\n

But again it is a blessed memory for me when I think of the life my parents lived.
\nIn them i saw the quality of true faith in God.<\/p>\n

My Dad! well he was the best father anyone could ask for. Forging a great name & path for us till his last breath. In his last days, he would make promises which i knew his earthly body might not allow him to see through…. , but i received them. I knew God honored His General’s heartfelt desires. Like the true hero of faith he was, he passed away on his knees praying…..<\/p>\n

My Mom, even on her deathbed you could hear her whispering her potent prayers, which she was known for. These powerful & many other memories will remain with me forever, knowing the invaluable ability they impacted into my life. The legacy they left and the gospel they preached has made me who I am today. Their prayers and admonitions guide me still to this day. All my progress and achievements in this life i give them credit….<\/p>\n

Mom and Dad! Thank you for preparing me for most of what life would throw at us in your absence. It is true the world and its people changed in a minute. But God!!! only your God remained the same….<\/p>\n

Through Christ who gives me strength, I carry on in the service of our Lord and Saviour. I am blessed to be your son & I\u2019m so glad you are grandparents to my children. Your memory will not die with me\u2026<\/p>\n

Till We Meet Again, Rest in Eternal Peace.<\/p>\n
